HAMPTON, VA — October 23, 2023 — The New Horizons Regional Education Centers (NHREC)
Board of Trustees will conduct its monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. The meeting
will be held at the Woodside Lane Campus, Building B (13400 Woodside Lane, Newport News, VA).
The Board of Trustees meeting agenda includes the annual Family Counseling Center
Presentation, Boldly Go 2025: Year 3 in Review Report, 2023-2024 School Improvement Goals,
2023-2024 Balanced Scorecard, Ten Day Enrollment Report, 2023-2024 Crisis Plan for
campuses, and First Read – SY 2024-2025 Program of Studies.
Public comment is welcome. Individuals may submit comments to be presented to the board, or
they may appear in person. In-person or virtual speakers are encouraged to prepare their
remarks to fit within a 3-minute limit. Speakers are welcome to provide copies of their written
statements that can be distributed to the board members. For submitted comments, please
