Services
Once an individual is determined to eligible they may receive services from either the In School or Out of School Programs. In either program individuals may receive any of ten mandated program elements under the WIA. These program elements include:
- Tutoring and similar services leading to completion of a program
- Alternative education services
- Summer employment linked to academic and occupational learning
- Paid and unpaid work experience
- Occupational skills training
- Leadership development
- Support services
- Guidance and counseling
- Follow up services
- Adult mentoring
