Aagya Mathur 2007 Old Point National Bank Scholarship Winner

The recipient of the Old Point National Bank Scholarship will have participated in serious and exemplary research activities related to his/her honors research project, while distinguishing himself/herself in the Governor's School academic program. The Old Point National Bank Scholarship requirements include: the filing of a resume; two letters of recommendation: one from a recent teacher, and one from a mentor or practicing professional familiar with the applicant's research project; a recent official transcript; a brief essay, and Scholarship Forms A-D describing achievements at NHGS.

To be eligible, students must be graduating seniors currently enrolled in any strand at the Governor's School for Science & Technology at New Horizons. Students must have attended the school for at least two years. Told Point National Bank awards $2000 to the scholarship recipient.
