Student representatives from all Governor’s School classes have the opportunity to serve on our Student Advisory Board (SAB). This Board is an organization to generate ideas and plan activities to enhance the Governor’s School experience. The Board has:

  1. planned a fun-filled night field trip to LaserTag in Virginia Beach
  2. sponsored a family-in-need during the Holiday Season
  3. hosted an all-night “Lock-in” at the school, an event filled with music, food, cheer, video games, DDR, etc.
  4. hosted the annual Science Spectacular in which 1st-7th graders participate in hands-on activities to further stimulate their interest in science
