Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA)

HOSA's two-fold mission is to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. The organization provides a unique program of leadership development, motivation, and recognition exclusively for secondary, postsecondary, adult, and collegiate students enrolled in health care programs. HOSA is 100% health care! At New Horizons CTEC, the programs participating in HOSA are Dental Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Medical Assistant, Nurse Aide, and Practical Nursing. http://www.vahosa.org/
